Tasted spectacular. Broiled, with some spices of my wife's choosing (?)...
The lake is plugged with trout now, and the bass are starting to prowl. I like to target trout with small kastmasters from a rental boat starting in early Feb through March if the Pacific is stormy and uninviting. Last weekend even got some good bumps tossing a 7" castaic trout, but nothing stuck. Didn't have the treble stinger hook on it though. ![]() |
