The seat keeps sliding forward while I peddle or I move around, so I thought I might try another.
I am going to try some velcro on the bottom of the seat pad, and on the kayak this week. Thats really my only complaint. On my last Revo I developed 2 cracks in the seat holes, so I know the area is not that strong. I don't want to deal with pounding the seat pegs into the seat holes again, I know they will eventually crack. The New Hobie seat may even worsen this condition as it uses a cam lock design to expand inside of the seat holes. I would not dare try it. The comfort is ok, its just that the seat keeps sliding around. So other than the Velcro, I may want to try another mounting system like Pacific Angler. -Iceman- tell me more about that seat. |
