I went out today. Since it was parking ticket Thursday, the parking options were very limited. I ended up pulling up to the green zone near the restrooms and unloading. I wheeled the yak down the sand and set everything up. I picked up the wheels, returned to the truck and moved to the main parking lot by the Lifeguard tower.

Lots of guys were doing more or less the same. Some geared up in the parking lot and wheeled their yaks to the steps by the restroom. The soft sand is a bitch if you have skinny wheels and more than one yak tipped over trying to negotiate the steps.

Coming in, I reversed the procedure. I landed in front of the restroom, grabbed my rods and walked to the parking lot to pick up the truck and return to the green zone.

It is a bit of a pain but not terrible.
