I thought the Ling opener was moved to May??

Its pretty clear on the message..the online DFG site is always confusing and vague. I would just start fishing for them after the 15th. You decide.
I grabbed this from a post on bloody decks for the DFG: Call the 831 649 2801 number prompt 2 gets you the rockfish regs hotling prompt 5 is for the southern area down to the Mexican border prompt 2 is for Ling Cod specifically |

That's very cool Yani. I'm glad to see they are still there. Few years back, lings (majority shorts) were rather big pain, they seemed that thick. I haven't caught one by the kelp in a while, really good to hear they are there.
