Although I'm from Nor Cal, I recently joined this site. I'm very fortunate to have found this site and look forward to reading more post from my brothers and sisters from So Cal
 Here's a pic of my 40"/23 lbs lingcod I caught using ML Trevala/Revo Inshore combo on 30lb PP with 3oz swimbait.  My stringer that day  40" with the 29" in its mouth

My first 2 WSB from the yak were on Swimbaits as well as my first few YT, the ones that followed were on iron. I did not make bait on the yak until I had fished 3 years off of it.
