I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous ! But it was my first shark in the kayak, and I had waited a long time to catch that fish. So I was determined to get it on board and get some video/pictures.
It did take a rather large chunk out of my rod handle (battle scars !) and a small chunk out of my dry suit 0- but the crown jewels are safe ! I probably would release alongside the yak next time - but I have to say, that it was a blast ! |

Great fish! Sharks of all types are so cool.
I am most impressed with the weather.Looks like a nice day for sure!
