Arne – great meeting you. Again, nicely done. Congrats on a good looking fish (I think you were on the water all of about 30 minutes).

While you were out there wrestling that beast, I was inside performing catch and release on miniature lizard fish, looking for the macks. Apparently I should have kept the lizard fish – I finally found the macks but they all went relatively untouched (one of them got raked on the bottom at the end of the day but nothing stuck). Pretty much my worst day of fishing in years. Then again, beautiful day on the water.

Anyway, great job. See ya on the water.

PS: not sure if you heard, but an hour or so after you left, someone nailed a nice YT flylining a Spanish just south of where we were.
