I went out of Dana Pt, (baby beach) yesterday and went out to the kelp and didn't see any at all. Lots of the tuna crap, but didn't seen any sharks at all. And I was keeping my eye out of them as I was fishing with live bait.

I fished saturday. I debated getting bait from the receiver but there were about 9 boats lined up for bait. I was north at headlands kinda of chasing the dana fleet fishing the monarch beach area. I caught macs green and browns and fly lined deeper water for nada. Saturdays are not normal fishing days for me. I was shocked at how many boaters there were. |

bait
Yes it was packed Saturday. I have never seen our parking lot so full. Friday night people were loading up on bait. My buddy did pick up a scoop that we shared. They were bigger sardines with a few smaller sardines in the mix. I am guessing that they have run out of what they picked up for the weekend and have a new batch.
