HELP! Lowrance's Mark 4 Base Model Owners**
I'm looking to replace my Hummingbird Pmax 160 that has recently stopped working (won't turn on). I couldn't find too many reviews on this Fish Finder and was hoping any of you guys could help shed some light on your personal experience with this model. LOWRANCE Mark-4 Fishfinder/Chartplotter with Nautic Insight Cartography and 83/200 Transducer West Maarine has this model on sale for 50$ and considering that my old FF doesnt have GPS, I'd be upgrading in a sense. The price has me nervous but i cant afford getting a FF over 100$ right now or in the future. *Note* This isn't the Mark-4 HDI model (I found more reviews on that model). Thanks in advance, I look forward to your suggestions. -Gio |

I'm not sure, but this could be the black and white model that took the place of the old Eagle Cuda 350 (Lowrance bought out Eagle)? I have the Cuda 350 and it worked great. The Mark 4 may not have all of the bells and whistles though. But depending on what you're using it for, it should be fine for the bays.
