Great catch. It can be difficult to land fish from a drifting yak in a group of anchored boats. Good to see every working together. Mike

Solid Fish!
Nice catch Gabe.
Thats a beautiful fish and very cool to see the support. I had a similar scenario last winter and the guy helped me get off the anchor line and tossed me a beer after landing the YT. Cheers! |

Yeah, I'm not sure why Jer (Scallywag) is so pissed off. He used to be one of coolest quietest kayakers for years and all of sudden he has turned into a loud mouth poster child on the planet!
I'm laughing at him cause most of those guys on the boats are my friends. BTW, I did give the boat plenty of space. A FAT strong 37lb YT will tow you real fast and cover a lot of distance. You can't stop him or break the line... Go to another site Jer and get your fish report!

Nice fish Gabe! I put up a video a while back where I had to pass my rod under Jerimiahs anchor rope to land my WSB. He was nowhere as helpful?

Also, you can steer fish out of anchor/bouy lines using rudder in most scenarios... especially with mirage drive? The boat looks like the Alexis, glad they were cool about it. Many are not Nice fish! Hater's gonna hate bro... do your thing! |
