All quiet on the lobster front

Haven't seen any lobster reports yet so I'll start. Went Saturday morning to MB and dropped traps at 0600 for one set before light...no joy. Didn't want to fight the Saturday night crowd so I got up at 0300 today and hit MB again. I'm still kind of new to this and don't know any hot spots. I ended up with 2 keepers out of a dozen or so netted. Not as much as I hoped for but it doubled my previous best of one. I would like to get keeper crabs too but have only seen small
Maybe someone is willing to share a crab spot? I know it is unlikely because it probably correlates to a lobster spot also.

Just got back from Channel Islands Harbor, hooping the inside of the breakwall from sunset to about 11:30pm.

I was really surprised that on a Tuesday there would be so many people out there but the inside of the breakwall was pretty much covered up and down with nets at one point.

All I got all night was 1 short and my buddy caught 3-4 shorts.
I spoke to several kayakers and boaters but no one seemed to be having much luck.

San Clemente Pier 9/30 from 8:30PM to 11:30PM

No bugs in my hoops, but I saw a few keepers and a ton of shorts.

Bummed about the lobster but I was stocked to pull this up.

Saw a good number of legals while diving off la Jolla tonight. Commercial opened today though.
