Just curious are rockfish in season I wasn’t sure if they were ok to catch in the beginning or end of March? Was looking at guidelines I might be confused.

Rockfish
The recreational fishery for rockfish is open year-round to divers and shore-based anglers.The fishery is open to boat-based anglers from March 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018. These species may only be taken or possessed in waters less than 360 feet (60 fathoms) deep
