Sunday Action

Started slow but late morning started to come alive. Sporadic boils; fast moving small schools of yellows amidst the bonito. Most fun ever---on the surface iron! 26#
Thanks, Hud, for the pic

Nice!

Good to see a report. Either fishing has been real slow or the good ol' boys don't want to report for fear of the madding crowds.
Hope the water stays warm long enough for me to get one this year.

Congrats on the nice Yellow! It's been tough for some time now. In the last 10 months I have caught about 1/3 as many Yellowtail as I have in the same amount of time each of the last 5 years. Tight Lines.

Frenzied crowds can be maddening too. But for a hunter and fisherman who likes to escape into the solitude and beauty of nature, I like your proper and more literary use of the word.

Far from the madding crowd's ignoble strife,
Their sober wishes never learn'd to stray;
Along the cool sequester'd vale of life
They kept the noiseless tenor of their way.
