Wow!!! I’m ashamed I haven’t subbed to your channel until just now. Wonderful footage. Those porpoises got so close to your boat! I’m surprised they didn’t accidentally bump your boat while doing their acrobatics, but they’re so smart and good at swimming in their pods they probably rarely bump into anything or one another at all.

Thanks for subscribing. They were so much fun. I've had them play around and on my kayaks they just went by, on the Solo Skiff I just have to slow down a little to match what they're doing and I know they will miss me and just continue to have fun while they are cruising. So far that was better than other times. What made it even more special was this was a pod about twice the size of others I've played with. Just trying to video more of the beautiful wild life I see almost every trip to La Jolla.

Porpoise...
The Purpose of my message is to inform you these are not Porpoise. 🤣
These are Dolphin. We have 2-3 variety of Dolphin in our waters... not porpoise. Love the videos. 😉 |

About 4 years ago I went on a Whale watching trip and the Naturalist that was talking on the boat about the wild life, said the the ones we have he were Common Porpoise and not Dolphin. Just saying that how I was told by a supposed expert. They have always looked like Dolphin to me. Which ever they are, they are always a welcome sight. Thanks for watching. PS: I looked on Google and those are Common Dolphin and there are short and long beak Common Dolphin.
