PB Mutton for 2022

Fishing the same wreck that had a big school of AJ's over it last week. This time no Amberjacks and slow jigging, except this one nice Mutton Snapper that made my day.

Nice catch John

How much a pound would that cost to buy and how does that compare to red snapper.
Your sailfish you caught got me motivated to go on my fishing trip, in terms of packing my gear. That scam took all the wind out of my sails...still on the hook 🪝 😑

Thanks Mitch, about $25/pound filleted. Quality wise Mutton is on par with Red Snapper.

Glad the Sailfish helped you get motivated.... wish I could have some better luck with the Wahoo for more inspirational.

So if you had stayed home and just bought the fish, you'd have saved some gas money and energy?
