Anyone know exactly how that works? Just bring in some meat and they whip it up just pay the price per head. I mean that sounds like a really great deal! BTW anyone have gps cords to bobs place. Read the directions but since its the first time there just want to be extra sure. Working on the mex auto insurance. Any other tips for the trip?

I recommend reading my old posts here. Including my famous list.

I should have the coordinates in my Garmin. I will post it later, if I can figure how to retrieve it.

Main point is not to pass KM134 sign on the highway. Look for a big horizontal water tank on left and make a left turn to a dirt road.

Hey Robert, I can only do the 26th-28th this trip, a real quickie. I'd be happy to share dinner duties with you any of those nights. Thanks for asking.

Custom Kayak Trailer

On an unrelated topic-Due to back injuries I need a custom trailer built that would be 40" wide and roughly 13' long to hold my Hobie Outback for storage in my front yard. I only have 40" to work with on the gate opening.

My goal is to have this kayak stored on the trailer with a tarp on it and ready to hook up to drive 5 miles to La Jolla. I could limit my speed to 50-55mph if necessary. All the trailers I find are minimum 48" wide due to the axle size. For longer trips I would have somebody help me lift the boat onto my 4Runner.

Thanks, Jeff

The difference is Mexicali 1 is the West border crossing that we all normally use, and Mexicali 2 is the smaller East border crossing (6 miles east on the other side of town).

Mexicali 2 can be alot shorter wait at times, but it does not have a Sentri lane.

Wow - they must have put one in. It has been 6-7 years since I used the East crossing though...

Actually the Sentri wait time is usually shorter in the East port, and for those that do not have Sentri but have a passport ID card can go through the Ready Lane wish is less time than the regular West port. The West port does not have Ready Lane at this time.
