Another idea...

Although I am new to the forum and to the sport, as I have been thinking about rigging up a bait tank, I have been planning to use a simple siphon valve, attached on my foot rest. I would periodically pump the ball on the siphon with my foot to circulate water through the tank. They are about 3 bucks from harbor freight. I'll let you know how it works...

You could go this route with the tubing running into the bait tank if you want to get real creative.

However.... if you are trying to save money you cant go wrong with a bait tube, or just build your own bait tank.
