They won't have a power boat race between shelter island and the mouth of the bay. Way too much boat traffic to shut down including, navy, sportsboats, sailboats and so on. They do have the Red Bull air races in I believe May but that only shuts down the embarcadero to just past Coronado bridge.

This might be what you heard of. Sail boats, looks like they will be by the embarcadero as well.

Don't worry guys its just a sail boat race. it will looks something like this:

(and you just have to manuever your way in)

Depending on the direction of the wind and the day of the racing, the courses will take the boats up along the Embarcadero or toward Harbor Island

I highly doubt they will be an issue at 6 am I also doubt they would have a regada in there, too much big boat traffic....lets go boys....

You are correct. Be aware the weather may be a little ugly this weekend, but I don't think it will rain.

Great meeting you guys today, sorry I broke off from the pack but I had to be off the water by 11 and there wasn't time to fish all the way to Zuniga. I paddled to the other side and managed some bass, sculpin and a bunch of lizards. See you all again next time!
