Drift sock size?

What size drift sock is best for our strong winds on our coast? Bps has them ranging from 36"-60" I'll be using it on my Malibu X13.

Most kayak folks use about a 18-24". COD and Surf to Summit make them and OEX?KFS carry them...

I have the one that Hobie sells, and it works, slows you down a little, but many times I wish it was bigger.
