Saturday August 2nd Got to la Jolla around 5am set up and launched by 530 launch was best I've seen yet knee high waves got out and most bait I've seen around early in the morning boiling everywhere for 8 Mack's between the 2 of us and started fishing by 730 am my cousin hooks up he just moved to Cali and I've been showing him the ropes after he hooked up he was getting towed around like crazy right thru the big group of kayaks (someone on here had to be there) 20 min fight and we landed this beauty since he was using my kayak and all my gear unfortunately I only have one gaff so I stayed by his side and helped him land it as the day got later bait seemed to disappear and saw no other action my cousin paddled in about a hour before me because I wanted one more then he did lol still no yellow off my kayak just a big white sea bass three weeks ago I posted but I set him up for his so I know I'm doing it right I'll be back tomorrow
