I have done the trip to Cedros three times, once on the Q105, Once on the Islander and most recently I did the fly down trip with Jose of Cedros Outdoor adventures. All these trips are amazing but I have to say the fly down is the way to go. Jose handles every detail and the fishing for Calicos is beyond belief not to mention an insane volume of yellows, WSB and Halibut. This trip is worth every penny.

There is a five day mothership trip to Benitos Island on thie excel in June. Q105 has on schedule too. Expensive, but could be really fun. Too bad the Islander doesn't have a long trip on the books. I would go...

A five day does not give you a whole lot of time at the islands. I thought the 6 day on the Islander was too short. The 8 day on the 105 was much better.

That was a fun trip. Just insane Calico fishing and when the wind was not too bad we could get off the island a bit for big schools of yellows.
