Having issues with Lexel curing correctly

All,

Has anyone else had issues with Lexel curing correctly? I tried to seal up my West Marine cable caps over the weekend and neither set properly. Even 48 hours later, the material is still soft to the touch and pliable. Definitely not water tight.

Has anyone else had this problem with Lexel? I've used it in the past and its been fantastic. No idea why its different now....

Thanks,

- Kenny

If I want those to be any more waterproof I just squirt some Marine Goop in the inside cavity.

That's exactly what I did with the Lexel but it never "hardened" like Lexel does. It must have been the difference in atmosphere because the last time I used this was in AZ, and it fully cured in about 48hrs.

Thanks for the info everyone!
