Dana landing or Dana point???

Hey guys new but not new to the forum aka lurker.well I'm trying to ad a report for this Friday and would like to know what landing you think will be best we have hit Dana point with little success so are leaning to new waters just wanna know what you suggest for getting into a bite

I'm looking for some table food rock fish,halibut my heaviest setup is a 25 lb Luna we have no ff so we go blind which is probably our biggest issue as to why we can not find and rock fish

Out of the two, I prefer launching dana landing, going through the channel, down south and fishing PT Loma kelp. Pick your times, and days to ride the tide and you will have a good time. Just look up once in a while to watch the south current. Ive almost ended up all the way down by PT Loma before. Kelp starts just southwest of OB pier. 40-80 FOW. Good luck.
