Oside reefs.

I've been doing well at the reefs and surrounding areas. Weather looks nice so I'm taking the new PA out tomorrow morning with a friend. Sardines are back at the barge. Would have liked to fish the rockfish derby, but still getting used the PA and haven't surf launched yet. If anyone wants to meet, we will be there around 7am on dune colored PA and revo. Channel 71

What are you catching at the reef? Mostly bass? I've wanted to try oside for awhile now but I've always figured if I'm gonna drive that far I might add well drive the extra 30 min to lj.

Mostly bass, but I've had WFO Sand bass bites recently. Sheepshead, sculpin, Hali's all in the area. Quite a bit of kelp at some of the coordinates. All the way to the bottom stringers

Good amount of fish out there. Next to one of the reefs, there was a school of big calico and sand bass. So big that it almost filled my elite 5 FF screen completely. It was easy Pickens from there. Mike and I both caught our first cabezon as well. Still no big halibut for us, yet. Bait barge report In oside is inaccurate. Don't expect sardines any time soon there.

The fishing was great! It was good getting to meet Brandon and Blake. First time at Oceanside artificial reef, I'm now a fan! Let's fish again soon!
Cheers!

Hey guys! I am a past yakker and know the area decent enough. I have a boat now and if you guys are in the area when I head out, I'll gladly give you a ride to the far reef area and save you a couple miles of paddling.

I'll be participating in the halibut tournament saturday. If you want a ride, we will probably be there around 0800.
