If everything goes right I will be fishing that area on Sunday. I can do Leo if people are committed to going. Otherwise I will be at deer creek road.
On a side not I just got the 2018 outback and will be putting my Malibu stealth 12 up for sale soon.
Let me know if you can make Sunday

If the surf is down, 9/10 I’ll try Leo Carrillo. I did some scouting yesterday on my motorcycle, checking all the launch spots from Pescador to Pt Magu. The surf was up, I saw one pickup with a Hobie sticker near the LC parking lot underpass.

I’m in the market for smaller kayak for the purpose of difficult beach launches. I prefer pedal though, my shoulder isn’t doing too good.

Im in for Leo this coming Sunday. What time and it will be my first time trying to surf launch the PA 12. I put the Hobie trax wheels today and man the thing is a beast.

What time do we meet and what is the suggested best way to get my kayak to the water?

Surf report looks good so far.

After moving my PA12 onto wheels and trying to move on concrete it was a PITA. I can't imaging lugging it down a set of broken stairs or the steep access we have to local beaches in Malibu.

Saw your post on my lunch break was going to mention PA probably not the best option for surf launching Leo,this is a place i call home look up my old Post alot are from Leo it's a beautiful fishery but the challenge is getting the Yak to the water I've owned Malibu and Ocean kayaks,I've always stayed away from peddle drives due to the Rocky conditions surf launching there IMO ocean kayak Trident 13 or 15 I prefer 15 with the mod pod is ideal can access and store rods inside nice and secure but the just my 2 cents I'm usually there on Sundays orange Trident 15 white Jeep GC with YakPak sticker on it
