Ultimately, it all depends on whether you will have one Yak or several in your fleet, storage space, and the type of fishing you do.

The longer vessels will get you to the hunting grounds faster, but may be less maneuverable. A 15 or 16 footer won't exactly allow you to make those turns in a tight cove at Irvine Lake.

Also, ask yourself what you did and did not like on the Xfactor... Once you head down to OEX, you will get all your questions answered, but do so once you better understand what you really want in a boat.
