Biggest keeper ever, and on my yak!


After catching a keeper ling and sand bass, I hooked this sevengill shark. He tangled my line and snagged my Sabiki rig with all of his thrashing about. Took about 30 minutes after bleeding to make sure I didn’t get bit before I hauled him aboard. 5 feet 3 inches and 35 pounds!


He must be 21 because I found a can of Budweiser in his stomach!
Fishing outside of mission bay. Came in earlier than planned so I fought the tide coming thru the bay. Wonderful day on the water!
