DP last Thursday

Last Thursday my friend an I fished DP harbor, I just want to warn everyone about paddle boarders. I had a big fish on at the mouth of the harbor, as the fish was taking line I looked over my shoulder and 2 paddle boarders were comming my way, I yeld but he ran up on my line anyway. These people should be warned about braid line. the line hit hiom and he jumped and fell of the board. I though I was going to have to call the Sheriff dept. I am 66 and the boarder was in his late 20 and was going to kick my ass. Luckly my Pa was faster.
They think they own the water, plus he should have been aware of his suroundings.

Just a warning I lost the fish

Sorry on the lost fish!
But love hearing about the fat PA winning!
They might be slow but they kick ass!
It was nice fishing with you on the Islander last weekend!

Walt,

2 thoughts I'll leave you with and you figure out the rest. Your Paddle is designed for swinging; and braid line burns the skin when reeled very quickly. These are 2 very formidable items you have at your disposal no matter what your age is although it's not a bad thing to come away from a confrontation without altercation.
