I hope it's okay to post a bay bass report (or lack of bay
bass report) for Huntington Harbour here, since this is where
we fish.

Looked at the tide charts and figured the lack of water
movement would mean slow fishing. So, we went fishing.

First several casts and the day was shaping up as I figured
without even a bump.

Tied on the biggest blade I had and retrieved it very slowly
and this spotty slowly inhaled it. The line slowly tightened
then my kayak slowly followed. It was a short ride, maybe
20' including a fisherman's exaggeration factor of 4, but a
ride none-the-less.

A few even smaller fish later and one look at Kaya told me
my lack of fishing skill was boring to even my best friend and
decided it was time to go.

PS: Got my phone all salty trying to get those pix so felt a
need to post them.
