First look at the BoB shirts...

I picked up 300+ t-shirts in Kearney Mesa this morning for The Battle of the Bays anglers and sponsors (Thanks Greathouse Screen Printing) and then stopped at Hobie in Oceanside to get the Captain's bags and some Hobie swag. Thanks Kevin Nakada!

Krystle was nice enough to try on a shirt for a couple of photos…it looks a lot better on her than it will on any of you fishermen! Krystle answers the phones and works the front desk at HobieCat. Thanks Krystle…!

Ricardo Holden…a new Hobie Fishing Team member with CIKC in Oxnard and the CCA CAL tournament coordinator for the Ventura/ Santa Barbara Chapter… designed the shirts and the logo layout. Not an easy task with over 50 logos to deal with…Thanks Ricardo!

Nice BoBs j/k That is a lot of lay out work to get that much on a shirt.

captain's meeting

ernhernandez68...The captain's meeting is not mandatory...but if you've never used the app or the CPR method it could really help. The tourneys can be won by as little as 1/4 inch so being sure you have a good photo and the correct measurement with no deductions or penalties is important!
The rules are on the iAngler pages and at the webpage...
www.battleofthebays.com

You can pick up your captain's bag and t-shirt when you check-in the morning of the event.
Please be sure to add the size shirt you'll need when you register at iAngler.

If you're registered for the tourney...I'll be sending out emails to all the participants with some videos and tips.
I sent out the first one just the other night.
It sounds easy...but getting a freshly caught Spotty to sit still on the hang trough while you get your phone ready can be a little challenging.

Feel free to email me with your questions or concerns... jim@sabaslayer.com
