Looking to get a fish finder, possibly hook 5. Any insight?

Need a new fish finder, iv been looking at the Lowrance hook 5. Who has this and do you recommend it, i fish everything from lakes to the jewel. Are there different transducers to get other than what it comes with? Thanks!

IMO, the 83/200 CHIRP is plenty good for LJ. Some will argue you need the 50/200 transducer for better deep water performance.

If you look at recent posts, these guys turn up the gain from the AUTO sensitivity and get pretty good results!
