Iceman or anyone out there,
How much am I losing out on if I go with thru-hull on an older outback?
I presume the in the water would be the best option - any kits available for the over-the-side mount?

Would be a huge loss you need the sides of the transducer clear for sidescan

yes, I would not even attempt to mount this inside the hull.
