Sabiki Problem

Hi Guys,

I have a little problem with my Sabiki rod and hope that someone might have a solution to suggest. It seems that I reeled my rig in too far and something got caught up inside the rod. When I tried to yank the Sabiki flies out, the line broke off inside.

Anyone know how to get the line and flies out of the inside of the rod?

Bob

If you have an air compressor try blowing the line and flys out of the rod.

Sabiki issues

I had the same issue.

I took a wire hanger and cut it near the hook end and straightened it out. cut off the hook leaving only the curly end, stick her up the barrel and twist. The theory being that the corkscrew end will twist up with the remaining mono in ther barrell and you can yank the whole mess out.

Your results may vary, but it worked like a charm for me!
