Anyone seen Sponge Bob?

After fighting and losing a good fish and knocking another one off at the gaff, Roman decided to catch something a little slower and easier to gaff so that his ol'man could post something to show what a great time we had fishing at Cabrillo (with the 'ringers') ....post anything....

Well, we caught this one fellow, Patrick but his other friend the sponge seemed to have eluded us that day. Maybe next time.

Nice star! Who's supposed to catch all the Squidward on our 2 day this weekend? Too bad you couldn't make it this year.

Having your son with you when you fish assures you of a great trip every time. You already got the "Right Kind".

Nice picture Roman!

Thanks!

Thanks for all the positive reply's. It was a good day for fishing and for others a good day for catching. I'm glad we had the chance to meet-up with some of Cabrillo's "finest", you are all a good bunch of "kayaker-men" and we look forward to fishing again with you in the future. Someday we'll hook and land a big one for Roman and get to go on that red-sled-ride that he so covets! Roman is 13 years old and wants to become an Ichthyologist and solve real-world problems for us, and I have no doubt he'll make it. Keep the positive encouragement coming everyone, you rock his world! Name: DSC00253.jpg
