advice please

Thinking about buying my first kayak for storage and transportation purposes I have been looking at wilderness tarpon 100 and mini x. Any feed back pros cons would be helpful. Thanks

Both are great kayaks. for the price the T100 is a better value as it includes 2 hatches and the seat for 650.00

Paddling wise the 100 will also track a little better. Its only real draw back is the weight is more than that of the Mini.

I fished on the Tarpon 100 for a full season.
It's a good little boat.
When paddling next to my buddies who had long sleek fishing yaks I had to fight to keep up with them, it's a little slower, but you'd never notice that with out the basis of comparison.

But I still could go wherever they went, and caught the same fish they caught.

In fact, when the current was driving diagonal to the beach I had less trouble keeping the 100 going straight at the beach, likely due to the softer hull.
They're a gerat starter yak, and in your case, storage yak.

Mine was from Rik.
