I also notice you didn't put your real name or a picture of yourself so who is the troll?

Anyway this board is about sharing info, good humor and good times, no need for hostility.

Why don't you come fish the 9 with me on Sunday? Seriously PM me and we can go out together!

You want my real name yeah sure you want my credit card number too?
Seriously what small percentage of member use their real name.
Thanks for the invitation maybe someday. I live in the High Desert not in la Jolla.
No I"m not sensitive I just don't appreciate some dude I never met telling me to"Chill off Dude" or some of the other terms you may use with your beer bodies, if you come up like that on me in public I will tell you my mind.
So to became friends you need to approach the right way, because been new member doesn't mean I have to put out with the sarcasm. I am in my mid 40s so maybe I think different.

No more drama dammit!!

Listen bro, use 50lb spectra, don't use cheap crap braid. When rockfishing, use a mono leader for stretch when pounding the rocks, fly lining live bait, use a flouro leader, when throwing irons and fast moving jigs, swim baits, tie straight to braid.

Now quit the drama (everyone) and let's go get us some fish!!!

Welcome aboard!

It's all good man. I put my name and picture because I meet a lot of folks on the water and I want them to know who I am so we can communicate later on. That's how you get the real good dope from people on here. Anyway you'll find lots of members willing to help you out. It's guys like me and many others who fish LJ 2 or 3 times a week who you want on your good side! You just gotta take some lumps like anything else. See you OTW

I agree..Thank you
Btw, my question was I have a small spool in the Daiwa LD20 if I use #40 Spectra I can get 260yards, with #50 about 200yards. For YT or WSB is this enough line?

I'm pretty sure you're good with either 40 or 50lb. Don't over think it. Spool it with 40 and see how that works. I think 40 braid is about the same diameter as 12 lb mono.

I apreciaste your help but I might fish la Jolla once a year if I do because I usually fish down in Baja I can catch same or better than LJ, so If I have to drive that far south I keep on going into Mexico, La jolla is already too crowded and over fished IMHO Iam more interested in fishing close to me maybe Malibu, SB or Goleta area for hali, calico, ling, I can fish for Jurel (YT) and Wsb down in baja.

This was a reply I made, quoting a previous reply. I got a good laugh out of the reply, not at anyone's expense.
Don't point your finger at me.
