Tuna Tubes

Boat or kayak, does anyone have any experience with them?

Not necessary on a kayak especially is you have a bait tank. They are typically for big baits like skipjack, small yellowfin, bonito etc. if it’s just mackerel for bait, throw them in the bait tank.

Agree, The tubes are generally for larger baits that are unable to stay oxygenated in a kayak live well.

Small Tunas have taken large trophy fish slow trolled universally. A few of us have taken Wahoo off kayaks using Little Tunny, both here in Florida, and in South Africa. Generally, the target species are in the same vicinity where the bait is taken, so baits are immediately deployed without using tuna tubes.

Not necessary on a kayak, but a potentially useful tool for those of us who want to push the limits of big fish taken off a kayak.
