Im sure this has been covered somewhere on here but im going to ask anyways im looking to buy a new fishfinder for the Hobie and was wondering about the Lowrance elite 4 color with gps built in or is the 150.00 modle about the same as far as FF goes how much would you say color helps just deciding if the extra 150 is worth it or not any opinions would be welcomed also where do you hobie guy mount your FF so its out of the way just curious thanks

the extra 15o gets you a gps. the mark 4 will give you the same thing for $200 but no color.

the GPS is worth it. makes it easy to know exactly where you've been and you can mark locations that are holding fish or bait.
