you mean this one:

It's tough to cook and fight T's at the same time, even if they are small.
I think that was the day 7 of us had 20+ sharks between us.

Grill?

Great pic Brad.
That grill looks cool.
Is that a market grill or something you came up with on your own?
The smell must have driven the other guys crazy.

This happened yesterday in KwaZuluNatal

After seeing what a mako will do to an outdrive unit, I wouldn't want to bring one alongside a yak.

I am a noob and I plan to start fishing for the T's soon. I was wondering at what dept range and months do most of you catch your T's? I plan on fishing the Malibu area.

Over the years - from the decks of our yaks - my friends and I have killed a shark or two - most brands you just let tow you until the life slowly drains out of them but the mako is evil to the core and must be dealt with as such.

If you are a hunter and or military, bring along a pistol caliber suited for harvesting big game or killing enemy combatants - when he makes that first pass - shoot to kill or be prepared to be killed.

Like most things in life - it’s just that complicated and it’s that simple.

I'm not sure of our state law on firing a weapon from a boat/kayak so I only use pepper spray. It would be a blast to fish makos from the yak but I need my life to support my fishing habits. Good luck and be safe!

I'm convinced that if i hook up to a mako, i am cutting the line ASAP. I will only keep fighting a T.

So I walk into Turners Outdoorsman and what do they have playing on the tv? The Threshers on Kayak video featuring "Rhyno", the one where the guy gets the Rapala sunk into his chin.

I bought a brand new shiny blue mack CDMAG-18.

By the way, Im in...

Friday afternoon to evening 23 or Saturday all day 24 May. Lets get a consensus on this both days are good for me.

If we do it on friday, i want to make sure that every one buddies up and we all have lights just in case a fight carries in the dark. Launch between 3:30 and 4:00 till we all get tired of trolling.

Saturday, I don't know should we do it late, all day, or evening. Stilll want everyone to buddy up, that way we all have assistance landing the big one when we get it.

I would still like some one in a boat if possible, to help haul fish and be a spotter in case someone is getting towed deep.

Also, would anyone be interested in gentleman's wager, in the pot, refund for no fish caught or biggest yak eater caught payout?

Have fun on the water this week end.
