Yes I was Kayak Fishing when I took some of these photos, Come by booth number 347 to view some exceptional photography from La Jolla ....

Those are some awesome pics

I practice on my dslr from time to time but when I don't get the image I want I put the camera away.

awesome pics, Chris. I met you about a year ago fishing with Yanni.
You mentioned you were on medium format, I think, but I wouldn't think you were on the water with your high end gear. You shoot these with a typical dslr?

I had a humpback breach on me at the condo location in the Summer - truly awesome.

Those are such great photos Chris. My favorite is the whale airborne and coming at you. That one is so sweet!
