Baja (Pic Heavy)

Just got back from a week-long trip to central baja. A couple days in Bahia de los Angeles and Punta Abreojos. Fishing was slow because we didn't have a boat, but I managed to take the kayak out and dive with some whale sharks in the south end of the bay. At Abreojos, the surf was pretty small, giving us time to explore the area and do a little bit of shore fishing. Awesome trip with my dad and certainly a great vacation to take before I head off to college this fall. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Oh ya, before I left for Baja, I got a little fish at La Jolla. Popped my cherry. 44.5 lb, 54"

I really enjoyed that post.
And I like how the seabass was simply the cherry on top instead of the cool trend to post while the fish is still bleeding...
Abreojos may look a tad different in the next couple days
Epic time with the old man is priceless well done

The flies weren't bad at Abreojos, but at BOLA, they were so annoying in the morning. It was impossible to sleep in there, because we slept on cots outside, so we had the glaring sun in our faces, 85 degree heat, and flies crawling all over us. Certainly wakes you up!

And I'm so mad we had to leave before Dora sent some swell to Abreojos. I dont think we're gonna get much energy up here unfortunately, but reef was probably fun and firing after we left.

Just finished all the WSB fillets so time for me to go out and put another on the table!
