Buying bait in La Jolla

Hey guys,

So far the only place I have launched from is La Jolla shores. Is there somewhere near by to buy live or fresh dead bait?

Or should I launch closer to a landing and buy from the guys on the water?

Thanks!
-Aaron

Hayabusa Sabiki Fluorocarbon Rig Set, Size 6 at Walmart.

Less than $2.

While you're there, grab one of those crappy $20 rod/reel combos, in about the 10 - 15 lb range to tie the sabiki on to...

Paddle up to the north side of the Scripps pier. Deploy. Bob up and down (the sabiki that is). Repeat.

For less than one scoop of bait (sorry Everingham bros), you've got a bait slaying machine.

The fish of your dreams, huh?
