what rod reel combos you using for bay fishing ? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Did a search but didn't find much.
Looking to get another bay setup soon geared more for saltwater and wondering what everyone was using. Primarily fish Mission Bay for spotties using swimbaits.

Currently use:

Baitcaster
shimano curado I paired with a shimano convergence 6' 6" med rod
abu garcia black max combo med 6'6" (caught a ton of fish on this)
shimano curado I paired with a shimano clarus med/heavy 7ft

Spinning
shimano symetre 2500 paired with abu vigilante 6'6" med

Buddy got a Lews inshore LFS MCS and seemed nice and leaning that way but no idea what medium 7ft rod to pair it with.
