SD Bay Report

Launched and had bait in the tank before the sun came up, then made my way to fishing grounds. Got a nice scoop of 4-6 inch sardines. I started my drift with the out going tide. First drift and I get a 24" but, I released him to grow up a little. Next couple drifts a end up with two decenr keepers and a couple of bass. Ended the day with the 2 keepers 9.6 & 9.15 lbs, released 24" but, 3 bass and a short but. Stopped fishing around 1115 and headed in.

I assume you have to have an ID card to use the USCG facility to launch? Man, I sure could have used that shortcut when my mirage drive broke out there yesterday...

Being active duty has its perks. It was nice launching from the naval base, saved me a little time and distance.

vague enough to guide those willing to put in the work. specific enough to not mislead any newbies.

I agree, put me in the right area and let me work for my fish. I'm not asking for coordinates, just the area.

Did you fish Sunday? Saw someone in a red outback go to the bait receiver and then fish by the mouth. I see you have a red outback per your picture. I was on the malihini. I marked your spot but I won't tell.
