I think this may work!

I popped this in the tankwell more as a joke but now im convinced this is a good idea. It's lillettes old infant bathtub we had in storage. Fits great in the tankwell, still seats her comfortably. I can thread a plastic/nylon buckle style belt across the lap (like you see on shopping carts) and reinforced eyelets to strap it to deck fasteners. On second thought ill ditch the lap belt idea. She has her life vest and I dont want her secured to the kayak in case of a spill. Im thinking the dunes resort lagoon in newport will be a great place to test this out.

Put a little water in there and you got a bait tank too!

That looks like it will work great! I have been trying to figure out the best way to take my 4 year old out with me. I have an OK Trident 13. I may fish out the old tub and check it out.

Thanks for the idea

Haha I had to pull the bait tank to add the seat. This will just be for pleasure cruising until shes old enough to fish.

My obsession for the sport has completely turned my my wife off to fishing. I have to get my daughter trained before my wife can turn her off of it too.
