Malibu Stealth 14/Xfactor

Hi all,

I have just ordered myself a Stealth 14, and was wondering if you could tell me if I am correct in presuming that the Stealth 14 has the same hull as an Xfactor on the bottom half, but just with a new top half deck design?

Just trying to understand if it will perform the same way, or is it a completley new boat with different performance characteristics?

Yes, same hull. Only difference is the added bait tank, side hatches and standard gator hatch.

Only difference in the bottom is the recess for the pump. Placing the 28 odd pounds of water low and in the center of the kayak rather than behind you is reported to make for a bit faster ride, according to Kiyo, a Malibu Pro staffer.
