DP

Step 1- Upgrade to a Hobie of your choice.

Step 2- Decide to fish before your fish finder ships out.

Step 3- Get OTW before your buddy, spend 2 hours playing around with the new kayak like a little kid, feeling amazed at how great the mirage drive is...

Step 4- When your buddy shows up (Chris), fish his spots because yours aren't panning out that day. Or because you can't find them. (it was one or the other, no FF)

Step 5- Be the only one to catch anything legal.

Step 6- Brag about it to people on the internet.

The bass went 14.5" & 16", the sculpin was 13.5". They made for some good taco's.

It was, it surprised me too. That photo is also pretty close up, so keep that in mind. But the bass had a lot on them. The meat was marinated in this chili powder & lime juice mix that the wife made, and then we added bread crumbs. It turned out great.
