Check out Humboldt black Xantus, going to drink one when I get home from work. And check out the Anderson valley bourbon barrel stout those are great too.
Love that Anderson valley bourbon barrel! Love my lost Abbey and avery uncle Jacobs stout as well. That special firestone is the shyit. It's called parabola and if you like barrel aged stouts, it's a must try. I'll be sure to look for that Humboldt black xantus, thank you.
That's funny you mentioned the brrrbon 2011. I just cracked my only 2011 last week! This pics for you. The other 8 are all from 2012. It aged wonderfully!

So I bought a six pack of Sculpin bottled in January to check it out. It's very fruity and not strong at all, a bit sweet and not much bitterness that you'd expect from an IPA. It should pair well with fish for sure, but it's not something I look forward to drinking after work. It's not worth the premium $16.00 IMO but still, definitely a smooth and tasty summertime beer. I'm going to check out the BP variety case from Costco mentioned earlier.

Every year my friends and I try and stock up on Parabola when it comes out. Ended up with a case of it for my bday last year..... And it's about that time of the year now.
