Cuda 350 s/map

Anybody own a Cuda 350 s/map? I just got one and want to know if there is a way to tell how much juice is left in the battery? Does it give a low battery warning? Can't find anything in the owner's manual.

I've only had mine for a few months and I haven't found anything either. I haven't had any problems with it going down with a little 12v after 6+ hours of use either. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Yeah, just want to know how many trips I can get out of a charge. My old Cuda could get about 4 trips. I'm sure the GPS burns a bit more power, just not sure how much.

Don't know of any way to tell.

I have had 12+ hour days with full usage of the FF/GPS all day and it never shut off on me. I'll have to check the battery voltage after one of those long days OTW.

Hey Ed, not sure about 12 volt batteries, but I know 6 volt batteries last longer if stored with a full charge. So I always store both 6 and 12 volt batteries fully charged. If an unexpected trip comes up you won't have to worry about your battery.

Cuda 350 s/map on a 12v 7amp battery lasted me about 18-24 hours total run time. That thing ran forever.

Lowrance HDS-5 only lasting 6-8 hours. Just upgraded to a 9amp battery and expect to get 10 hours.

If you are running a b/w unit you should get plenty just like the old cuda/350. It's when you go color that you get much less run time. The GPS and sonar are relatively low power compared to the screen.

I don't remember a voltage overlay but you should take a look in the settings and see if you can add it.
