Any updates on where we can launch?

From what I understand State Beaches in San Diego are still open - which includes Glorietta Bay - however I tried to drive down there today and the Coronoado Bridge was closed due to a suicide attempt.

There is a state beach launch by Sea World I believe but that was closed.

San Onofre? Never been or launched there (La Jolla is the main spot)...is this an easy spot to launch (or at least no more difficult than surf launching La Jolla?)

I gotta get out of the house and figured no better place to socially distance than out in the middle of the f'ing ocean but it seems like were are being blocked -

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

San Onofre is a state beach, and parking and camping there is closed.

Thank you - saves me the drive - appreciate the intel.

Supposedly if you have a boat on the water in a slip you can go out but launches are closed (according to the guy at Dana Point I talked to earlier today) - sadly the Pro Angler really isn't a slip worthy craft...

I believe that the beaches and marina are open in Oceanside. You can probably launch a kayak from their ramp or, with some help, (for a Pro Angler), from the guest dock on the east edge of the marina.

The harbor is open, but all the parking is closed. Makes launching a challenge, at best. Most folks heading out of Oceanside are doing so from Pendleton. Best case scenario is to have someone willing to drop you off, since the nearest open parking is a bit of a hike.

Less likely to attract attention launching from the kayak pad at the guest dock than the main boat ramp.
